I’m imagining this page as the back sleeve of a book cover, the one where you read the About the Author blurb to satisfy your mild interest in the person who dreamed up your favorite novel. If this were the case, mine would read thusly:
Grace is a senior currently enrolled in a fine east coast university where she is studying to complete an English major and Art History minor. Combining her love of writing and traveling, she created this blog, Grace’s Places, to document her semester abroad in the Fall of 2011 while also providing a means for her concerned family and curious friends to read about her upcoming adventures. Now that European Studies is over, she can’t seem to let go of the wanderlust. She enjoys drinking coffee, reading lots of books, baking, and working on her own art journal in her free time.
However, since this is a blog and not a novel, I’ll not bore you with more specifics. Perhaps I will be on that back sleeve someday. Until then, you’ll just have to make due with the blog as I reveal my inner thoughts, and probably some of my own quirks as well.
